Naoshi Komi’s Nisekoi – False Love manga ran from November 2011 to August 2016 and inspired two seasons of TV anime and a live-action film in the process, one in January 2014 and another in April 2015. Now Shueisha’s Comic Bunko label is getting ready to reprint the series in a newer bunko paperback format, and the new release will include a special epilogue story as a bonus.
Each volume of the reprint will feature new cover art, with the first 14 volumes covering the main manga and the final two collecting the novelizations. The new bonus story will be set 10 years after the main story of Nisekoi, so we should get a chance to see what everyone’s been up to in the meantime.
The first two reprinted volumes are set to launch in Japan on June 16, followed by a new volume on the 18th of every month after that.
VIZ Media publishes the Nisekoi manga in English and describes it:
It’s hate at first sight—or rather a knee to the head at first sight —when Raku Ichijo meets Chitoge Kirisaki! Unfortunately, Raku’s gangster father arranges a false love match between Raku and their rival gang leader’s daughter, who just so happens to be Chitoge! Raku’s searching for his childhood sweetheart from ten years ago, however, with a pendant around his neck as a memento…but he can’t even remember the girl’s name or face!
