New Hell Girl Anime Series Set for July

Hell Girl is back.

That’s the word, at least, from a listing for an upcoming Hell Girl compilation manga, set to include production designs and notes from the upcoming series, which will reportedly begin airing in July.

Hell Girl, produced by Studio Deen and Aniplex, is the story of Ai Enma and her job dragging folks to hell. The first season of the series aired between October 2005 and April 2006 and was followed by two extra seasons, plus several manga series, games and a live-action TV drama.

The most recent anime series, Three Vessels, ended in 2009.

We’ll have more hellish details as they’re revealed.
