May 4, 2011 Yes, believe it or not, Namco Bandai have another Dragon Ball-related fighting game on the way. Playful sarcasm aside, Japanese blog Tale Tale Source cites the upcoming issue of Weekly Shonen Jump as the source of the announcement, and the game is listed as a Fall 2011 release.
While it may be true that it’s no surprise to hear of Namco Bandai working on a new DB game, the question now is how it will differentiate itself from the recent Budokai (and other) titles that preceded it. As of now the game is tentatively titled Dragon Ball Game Project Age 2011, and reportedly focuses on “3D fighting action.”
This magical mystery project is currently in development for both Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. We’ll have to wait a bit to find out precisely what’s in store for both consoles.
