Following up on last April’s announcement for the My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! anime film, a premiere date has been locked in place. Katarina heads to the big screen when her film opens in Japan on December 8, and you can see more in a teaser trailer below.
The My Next Life as a Villainess: All Routes Lead to Doom! anime film has the staff from the TV anime returning to bring a script by original light novel author Satoru Yamaguchi to life.
The Villainess anime has two seasons, which aired in 2020 and 2021. Here’s how J-Novel Club describes the original light novels:
After hitting her head particularly hard one day, Duke Claes’ daughter, Katarina, suddenly recalls all the memories of her past life: that of a teenage Japanese girl. Just before her untimely death, this girl recalls playing an otome game… that is exactly like the world she’s living in now!
She is now Katarina Claes, the antagonist of the otome game, who nastily hounded the protagonist until the end. Knowing all the possible outcomes of the game, she realizes that every single possible route ends with Katarina being murdered or exiled!
