My Hero Academia S7 Opening Song Performer Announced

My Hero Academia S7 Opening Song Performer AnnouncedMy Hero Academia season 7 is on the way (man, time flies when you’re plus ultra-ing around), set to hit screens May 4. Now we know who’s going to perform the latest MHA opening theme song.

The artist is none other than TK from the band Ling Tosite Sigure. You may know TK and Ling Tosite Sigure from their songs for Chainsaw Man, Psycho-Pass, Tokyo Ghoul and more.

Here’s TK’s comment from the announcement:

The theme of this song was born the moment a soap bubble flew in front of me, reflecting the rainbow colors so vividly that it disappeared, leaving its shape on the concrete. Is this battle, which continues while being deprived and even acquiring pain, for oneself or for someone else? May the brightness that shines through the tattered world be engraved with this song.

We’ll learn more about the song and get an aural preview in the coming days.

Season 7 of My Hero Academia begins from chapter 329 of the original manga. A compilation series including some new scenes will air starting April 6.
