May 27 is set to be a special day for Sword Art Online fans. A special 10th anniversary live stream is planned for that night, and it’s teasing the reveal of more information on the Sword Art Online anime. Kirito VA Yoshitsugu Matsuoka will host the Sword Art Online Anime 5.27 LIVE 》》》 NEXT special, which will stream via NicoNico Live Broadcasting.
A bunch of illustrations were also revealed for the Japanese home video release of Sword Art Online -Progressive- Aria of a Starless Night, featuring the work of the anime film’s staff and original light novel illustrator abec.
The second Progressive anime film, Sword Art Online -Progressive- Scherzo of Deep Night, hits theaters in Japan this fall.
