The seventh and eighth episodes of the Encouragement of Climb anime’s second season were rebroadcast in Japan this week, and a new commercial made its debut during the airing. This one featured a new clip previewing the upcoming season, Encouragement of Climb Next Summit, which is set to premiere this October.

The adaptation of Siro’s mountaineering manga is on display in the video below with some new scenes, as well as a sample of the new soundtrack from composer yamazo.

The new season will be 12 episodes, moving to 30 minutes each for the first time in the series. The first four episodes will be compilations from the previous series mixed with new short stories, followed by all-new episodes starting with the fifth.

Crunchyroll streamed the first two seasons as they aired and describes them:

Aoi prefers indoor hobbies and is afraid of heights, but her childhood friend Hinata loves to show off her passion for mountain climbing. As young children they once watched the sunrise from the top of a mountain, and now they’ve decided to take up mountain climbing in hopes of seeing that sunrise again. They have cooking battles with mountaineering gear, climb small hills in their neighborhood, and meet new mountaineering friends as they learn the ropes of the hobby. When will they finally see that sunrise again?
