Momo Continues to Inspire Nightmares in SNL Spoof

momo We recently posted about the Momo Challenge, an online hoax that had parents concerned over the safety of their children. The Japanese yokai sculpture that inspired it has since been destroyed due to the nature of its construction, but its reverberating effect on meme culture is alive and well. In fact, it’s already at the point of being spoofed on Saturday Night Live.

The latest episode of the somehow-still-relevant sketch show put Kate McKinnon in the role of Bok Bok, a Momo-alike mascot for a fried chicken restaurant. Check out the results below.
