The Masamune-kun’s Revenge R anime—which serves as the title for the second season—was originally scheduled for an April 2023 premiere before being hit with a months-long delay due to COVID-19 related production issues. That set the debut back to July 2023, and that date was recently narrowed down to July 3 along with the arrival of a new trailer.
Crunchyroll already announced plans to stream Masamune-kun’s Revenge R, which includes new cast additions such as Miku Ito as Muriel Besson and Yasuyuki Kase as Frank Besson.
Based on the manga written by Hazuki Takeoka and illustrated by Tiv, the first season of Masamune-kun’s Revenge is currently streaming on Crunchyroll, which describes it like so:
“I’ve returned to this town for revenge!” Eight years ago, Makabe Masamune, a weak and chubby boy, was harshly rejected by the beautiful Adagaki Aki. Now, he’s lost a ton of weight, changed his name, and returned as a handsome teenage boy… all to make the “Brutal Princess” Aki fall in love with him so that he can reject her just as harshly as she did.
