It's a super robot! No, wait, it's Masami Obari!Masami Obari wants to make a super robot anime.

That’s the word straight from the Twitter account of the famed director, who’s helmed works like Detonator Organ, Fatal Fury: The Motion Picture, Super Robot Wars Original Generation: The Inspector and more.

Obari tweeted April 12:

“I want to make a super robot anime, so I will.”

Sounds so simple!

Obari, born in 1966, is also known for his character and mecha designs on series, films and video games like Fight! Iczer One, Bubblegum Crisis, Dangaioh and Voltage Fighter Gowcaizer. More recently, he’s been involved with Gundam series like Iron-Blooded Orphans and Gundam Build Fighters and Divers, directing the Battlogue ONAs.

He’s also the co-founder of studio Studio G-1 Neo.

Can’t wait to see what, if anything, comes out of this!
