MAPPA, the studio behind Yuri on Ice and Zombie Land Saga, is bringing the world of gymnastics to anime with Taiso Samurai, a new original series set to land this October.
The series centers around male gymnast Shotaro Aragaki, a once-great member of Japan’s gymnastics team whose body isn’t responding like it used to, and whose coach is advising him to retire—until an encounter changes his destiny.
