The Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha anime first started with the initial TV series back in 2004, and now it has big plans for its 20th anniversary. The series’ official portal site announced that a special anniversary project is set to begin sometime in October 2024.
In addition to a commemorative logo, which you can see below, there’s more information on the way about the project soon. The first phase is titled “Lyrical Selection” and will included TV-edited versions of two anime films, 2010’s Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st and 2012’s Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha the MOVIE 2nd A’s, which respectively cover the first and second TV anime seasons.
Another aspect is an illustration contest called Lyrical Illust, which will accept illustrations under the theme of “Your Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha 20th Anniversary Memories.” Winning illustrations will be featured in the ending credits of the upcoming TV versions of the films, and those who win will also get a sticker featuring the 20th anniversary logo.
