Gen Urobuchi—the writer behind hits like Puella Magi Madoka Magica and Fate/zero—took to Twitter today to tweet about his plans for the new year. While we know about a second season of Fate/zero, it seems there are some surprises in store for 2012, as well.
A rough translation via Crunchyroll sums up the tweet below: “Happy New Year! This year from April I’m going to be doing Fate/Zero’s 2nd season, and then starting in October, the details are still secret, but I’m doing an original anime. I hope for your support!”
The tease may be just that, but at least it looks like fans of Urobuchi’s work will have plenty to look forward to in the new year.
