Believe it or not, but the Madoka Magica 10th anniversary is upon us! The Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime first kicked off on Japanese TV on January 7, 2011, so the staff behind the original series is here to kick off the celebration with a special 10th anniversary project.
The project website went live today, complete with comments from the creators. It also revealed that illustrators and manga creators will share special commemorative images starting on January 14. In the case of the image at the top of the article and below, the art comes from original character designer Ume Aoki.
As the website teases, more is on the way for the Madoka Magica 10th anniversary project, so stay tuned for the next announcements.
