Made in Abyss Anime is Getting Another Sequel Project

The new Made in Abyss anime film, Dawn of the Deep Soul, just opened in Japan this weekend, but there’s already talk of a new project being developed. Another sequel based on Akihito Tsukushi’s popular manga has gotten the green light, with further details to come sometime in the future.

For now, the format and timing are up in the air, so we’ll have to wait and see what form this sequel ends up taking. In the meantime, check out the announcement trailer below.
