The Luminous Witches anime is about to kick off on July 3, and a new promo arrived to jumpstart the hype with a preview of the show itself and its theme song, which has the cast belting out the tune “WONDERFUL WORLD.” Check it out below while we wait for the high-flying fun to begin.
The Luminous Witches anime—which is a spinoff of the Strike Witches series marking its 10th anniversary—was previously delayed from its original 2021 plans due to “various circumstances.”
Shoji Saeki and Kana Harafuji are directing the anime, which is being produced at Shaft, with a cast that includes Mai Narumi as Virginia Robertson, Minako Hosokawa as Inori Shibuya, Ami Aimoto as Lyudmila Andreyevna Ruslanova, and more.
