The Love Live! series is going live-action! The first-ever live-action drama based on the series is right around the corner in Japan, with Love Live! School Idol Musical the DRAMA set to begin airing in Japan on November 21, 2024.
The drama will be based on the first musical series, School Idol Musical, which tells a new story following ten girls from Tsubakisakuhana Girls’ High School in Hyogo and Takizakura Girls’ Academy in Osaka. The musical was first performed in Tokyo and Osaka from December 2022 to January 2024, and new shows are scheduled for February and April 2025.
Kouki Kishimoto is on the script for the series, with Keijiro Tsubakimoto and Hiroto Totsuka directing. Here’s a look at the main cast:
