Live-Action Gintama Movie Lines Up North American Screenings

While it was previously revealed that Well Go USA will be bringing the live-action Gintama movie to Blu-ray, DVD, and digital outlets in North America, fans hoping to catch it on the big screen are in luck. Well Go USA has teamed up with distributor Azoland Pictures to bring the adaptation of Hideaki Sorachi’s manga to theaters in the United States and Canada, with screenings to kick off on January 19, 2018.
The home video release will follow on March 6, so seeing it in theaters will give you a nice head start. And just a few months after that, Japan will be getting the summer-bound sequel, currently known as Gintama Part 2, in theaters.
In the meantime, we’ll have to wait for more details on the North American screenings.
