We’re just one month away from first-time event Anime NYC, which is coming to New York’s Javits Center in partnership with Crunchyroll from November 17 to November 19. The official website went up with a big announcement earlier today: The con will be host to the U.S. premiere of the live-action Fullmetal Alchemist movie.
The feature has been selected for Anime NYC’s Closing Film, and it’s set to go down on the main stage on Sunday, November 19 at 3:00pm. The premiere is open to all Anime NYC attendees as long as you have a Weekend, Sunday, Panelist, or Exhibitor badge as well as a movie ticket that’ll run you an extra $10. You can secure your ticket online now.
In addition to the showing, director Fumihiko Sori will be making a rare U.S. appearance to present the film. He’ll also be around to sign autographs prior to the debut, with more information to come on that at a later date.
