The anime adaptation of Yasuhisa Hara’s Kingdom manga officially locked in a date for its season 4 premiere. The next chapter of the historical journey unfolds when the anime returns to NHK General in Japan on April 9.
The third season of Kingdom kicked off back in April 2020, but was delayed due to COVID-19 in the middle of its run. Episode 5 and beyond would premiere after the series returned from the beginning the following April.
Kingdom season 4 takes place after the Coalition Army Arc, with Ei Sei telling Prince Sei Kyou of his ambition to become the ruler who finally unites China. Together, they take another step closer to achieving this goal.
