Daichi Sorayomi’s Keijo!!!!!!!! (Hip Whip Girl) is taking its risque water sports action to TV anime, and the upcoming adaptation’s staff and cast were revealed in the latest issue of Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine. The series is being directed by Hideya Takahashi (Fantasista Stella), with Takao Kato (Triage X) on series composition and Keiya Nakano (AOKANA: Four Rhythm Across the Blue) on character designs.
Lynn (Liesharte in Undefeated Bahamut Chronicle) takes the lead role of Nozomi Kaminashi, while M.A.O. (Yukina in Kuromukuro) plays Sayaka Miyata, Kaede Hondo (Kukuru in Magical Somera-chan) plays Kazane Aoba, and Saori Ōnishi (Seisa in Mikagura School Suite) plays Non Toyoguchi.
The main sport in Keijo!!!!!!!! involves contestants standing on platforms and using their butts and chests to push one another into the water. The story centers on Nozomi Kaminashi, who joins a training boarding school and enters the competitive world of Keijo after high school.
