The Monogatari anime is almost back with Off & Monster Season, so another character trailer is here, this time highlighting Koyomi’s sister, Karen Araragi. Reacquaint yourself with the Eri Kitamura-voiced character in the video below.
We previously got a look at Nadeko Sengoku and Tsubasa Hanekawa. Monogatari Series Off & Monster Season premieres on July 6, 2024 with Crunchyroll streaming.
The Off & Monster Season anime is being directed by Midori Yoshizawa (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story), with Akiyuki Shinbo supervising, serving as chief director and co-writing with Fuyashi Tou. The series also marks the return of character designer and chief animation director Akio Watanabe at anime studio SHAFT.
Based on the novel series by NisiOisin, the first anime adaptation in the series, Bakemonogatari, aired in 2009. There have been four Off Season novels in Orokamonogatari, Wazamonogatari, Nademonogatari and Musubimonogatari, and the Monster Season novels include Shinobumonogatari, Yoimonogatari, Amarimonogatari, Ogimonogatari, and Shinomonogatari.
