Monogatari Anime Prepares for Return with More Character Trailers


The Monogatari series is getting ready to continue with Off & Monster Season this July, so we have a couple more character trailers to help prepare us ahead of launch. The latest previous include new spotlights for Nadeko Sengoku (VA: Kana Hanazawa) and Tsubasa Hanekawa (Yui Horie), so let’s take a look at both below.

The Off & Monster Season anime is being directed by Midori Yoshizawa (Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story), with Akiyuki Shinbo supervising, serving as chief director and co-writing with Fuyashi Tou. The series also marks the return of character designer and chief animation director Akio Watanabe at anime studio SHAFT.

Based on the novel series by NisiOisin, the first anime adaptation in the series, Bakemonogatari, aired in 2009. There have been four Off Season novels in OrokamonogatariWazamonogatariNademonogatari and Musubimonogatari, and the Monster Season novels include Shinobumonogatari, YoimonogatariAmarimonogatariOgimonogatari, and Shinomonogatari.
