Following up on its initial announcement, a teaser trailer premiered for the anime adaptation of Gege Akutami’s Jujutsu Kaisen manga during Jump Festa 2020. That was back on December 22, but the video finally made its way online for everyone to see.
The main staff and schedule have yet to be revealed, but we at least know some of the key players. Junya Enoki is in the lead as Yuji Itadori, with Yuma Uchida as Megumi Fushiguro, Asami Seto as Nobara Kugisaki, and Yuichi Nakamura as Satoru Gojo.
Nakamura commented on his addition to the cast, saying, “I voiced Gojo in the PV for the manga before, but I never thought I could play the character again as it is! I am very happy because it is something I never expected.”
Viz Media publishes the manga in English and describes it like so:
Although Yuji Itadori looks like your average teenager, his immense physical strength is something to behold! Every sports club wants him to join, but Itadori would rather hang out with the school outcasts in the Occult Research Club. One day, the club manages to get their hands on a sealed cursed object. Little do they know the terror they’ll unleash when they break the seal…
