Japanese Event Lets You Ride the Demon Slayer Movie Train

Even with so many things closed down, Japan has managed to make a train-themed Demon Slayer event to coincide with the movie: Demon Slayer: Mugen Train.

According to Japanese news outlet Mainichi, this is taking place “at the Kyoto Railway Museum in Shimogyo Ward, as well as at movie-themed Toei Kyoto Studio Park in Ukyo Ward, and at Arashiyama Station for the Randen tram.”

People are able to hop aboard a 1914 JGR Class 8620 train in the style of the one from the film. The word “Mugen” has been displayed on it, and you’ll hear main character Tanjiro through the loudspeakers. There are also opportunities to take photos with cutouts of characters, and some people attending choose to cosplay. The event is scheduled to last until mid-March.
