The Island of Giant Insects manga by Yasutaka Fujimi, RED ICE, and Shu Hirose is getting an original video anime this June, with streaming planned for Crunchyroll worldwide outside of Asia. The folks behind the adaptation want to take things further, however, and are preparing to launch a Campfire crowdfunding campaign to raise money for a theatrical screening.
The official YouTube channel went the extra mile to promote the launch of the campaign, and the results are a decidedly NSFW “sexy version” of the anime. Watch the promo—which gets dangerously close to big bug hentai—at your own risk below.
The Campfire campaign kicks off on May 31, and the OVA will follow in a limited edition bundle of the manga’s sixth volume in Japan on June 20.
