It’s true what they say about not being able to keep a good dog down (hyuk hyuk). Such is the case with Inuyasha, the final act of which will be debuting across Asia on October 10th, 2009. This comes just one week after the October 3rd Japanese premiere, and spans Southeast Asia, the Philippines, South Asia (8:00pm, all), WIB (7:00pm), Hong Kong (7:30pm) and Taiwan (11:30pm), with just those slight time discrepancies separating the actual airings.
Inuyasha: The Final Act picks up where the original anime series left off, and sees the original voice cast returning, as well. The goal, naturally, is to finally wrap up the story as told in Rumiko Takahashi’s manga (which wrapped its Weekly Shonen Sunday serialization in June 2008). They certainly have their work cut out for them, as The Final Act is slated to run for 26 episodes, giving it a lot of ground to cover in a short time.
