2023 will mark the debut of the anime adaptation of Makoto Ojiro’s Insomniacs After School manga, which is being directed by Yuki Ikeda (episode director for Tribe Nine), with Rintarou Ikeda (Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It) on series composition, Hiroaki Fukuda (animation director for Vivy -Fluorite Eye’s Song-) handling character designs and Yuki Hayashi (My Hero Academia) composing music for the LIDEN FILMS production.
We may have a while to wait yet, but the first visual and trailer made their way online for the upcoming series.
The manga series by Makoto Ojiro follows two struggling insomniacs in Nanao, Ganta and Isaki, who find comfort together in the observatory of the now-defunct Astronomy Club.
