Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill Team Up for Dual Exhibition This Summer

What do Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill have in common? Hmm, where to begin. First and foremost, they were both directed by Trigger’s Hiroyuki Imaishi and written by Kazuki Nakashima! Now they will soon be celebrated together in a joint exhibition that’s on the way to Japan this summer.
The appropriately titled Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann vs. Kill la Kill Exhibition serves as a collaboration between Aniplex and Studio Trigger. Details are relatively light, including the location of the exhibition, but we do have a rousing new visual courtesy of the inimitable animator Sushio.
Stay tuned for more on this as it’s announced! It was revealed on April 1, but it doesn’t appear to be foolin’.
