Gundam anime fans have something new to look forward to with the reveal of Sunrise’s plans to adapt Yoshikazu Yasuhiko’s Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin manga. 

The original manga ran for 23 volumes, the first of which is coming to North America from Vertical Inc. in March. We’ll have to wait for more details on Sunrise’s adaptation of Yasuhiko’s retelling of the One Year War. 

Viz Media previously released volumes of The Origin in North America. Vertical Inc.’s hardcover versions will more closely mirror the Japanese collector’s editions.
