The end is nigh for Satoru Noda’s Golden Kamuy manga! This week saw the announcement that there are just three chapters left for the series, which has been running in the pages of Weekly Young Jump magazine since August of 2014. That means the final chapter will be published in the combined volume 22 and 23 issue of Young Jump, which hits stands in Japan on April 28.
Previous reports had Noda’s series entering its final arc back in July 2021, so it seems to be wrapping up right on schedule. Ahead of the conclusion, volume 29 will launch in Japan on April 19, bringing the total number of copies in circulation up to 19 million so far. With the final chapter looming, all previous chapters will be available to read for free digitally in Japan for a limited time.
The Golden Kamuy manga inspired an anime adaptation that currently has a fourth season on the way this October, and everything so far is available to stream via Crunchyroll.
