Aichi Prefecture’s Smile Project Channel has been putting together content to help children in Japan smile through these tough times while staying at home. One of their videos called upon the assistance of Studio Ghibli producer Toshio Suzuki, who was born in Aichi Prefecture, which will also be the future home of the Ghibli theme park that’s in the works.

Suzuki took the opportunity to teach everyone how to draw Totoro from Ghibli’s 1988 classic anime film My Neighbor Totoro. Watch as he puts his calligraphy pen to work to show us how it’s done below.
