The summer simulcast announcements are rolling in, and Funimation’s latest is perfect for the hot months to come. RE-MAIN is an original water polo anime from the always busy studio MAPPA (JUJUTSU KAISEN, Attack on Titan Final Season), and it’s coming to Funimation’s streaming service this July.
RE-MAIN has director and creator Masafumi Nishida (head writer on Tiger & Bunny) at the helm and stars Yuto Uemura as Minato Kiyomizu, Koutarou Nishiyama as Eitaro Oka, and Subaru Kimura as Jo Jojima.
In Japan, RE-MAIN will premiere as part of TV Asahi’s Numanimation block on July 3.
