Do you dig Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End? You’re certainly not alone.
The manga was already a hit before the anime began airing, with 10 million copies out in the world. But the anime has hugely increased awareness of the fantasy manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe: there are now over 17 million copies in circulation. That’s a lot of Frieren!
The Frieren manga launched in 2020, and the anime adaptation premiered in September with a special two-hour broadcast. The anime will continue in 2024.

The adventure is over but life goes on for an elf mage just beginning to learn what living is all about. Elf mage Frieren and her courageous fellow adventurers have defeated the Demon King and brought peace to the land. But Frieren will long outlive the rest of her former party.
