Another Story: How Fist of the North Star Came to Be is an upcoming documentary that’s currently listed on the official website of NHK World. According to the listing, the documentary about Tetsuo Hara and Buronson’s classic Fist of the North Star manga will air on the NHK World channel on Friday at 11:10pm Eastern Time, followed by additional airings on Saturday at 6:10am, 11:10am and 6:10pm.
The Fist of the North Star manga ran in the pages of Shueisha’s Shonen Jump magazine from 1983 to 1988, inspiring a 152-episode TV anime adaptation from 1984 to 1988, followed by a film in 1986, a live-action film in 1995 and an OVA in 2003.
