Farewell, My Dear Cramer Anime Reveals Ending Theme

my dear cramer

When the Farewell, My Dear Cramer anime—which adapts the manga by Naoshi Arakawa—premieres in Japan on April 4, it will end each episode to the tune of an ending theme song by Mikako Komatsu. The voice actress and singer will perform “Kuyashii koto wa Kettobase” (“Kicking Frustrating Things”), and you can hear a sample in the new commercial below.

The previously revealed opening theme is Aika Kobayashi’s “Ambitious Goal.”

Kodansha Comics publishes the manga in English digitally alongside its Japanese release, and describes it like so:

With no soccer accomplishments to speak of during the entirety of Sumire Suo’s junior high school years, the young wing gets an odd offer. Suo’s main rival, Midori Soshizaki, invites her to join up on the same team in high school, with a promise that she’ll never let Suo “play alone.” It’s an earnest offer, but the question is whether Suo will take her up on it. Thus the curtain opens on a story that collects an enormous cast of individual soccer-playing personalities!
