Hello, Everyone!! This is otaku and trend watcher Yunmao Ayakawa!
I have a question for you: Are you Meganekko (glasses-wearing girls)? Me? Yes, I am a Meganekko!
I wear glasses often as a fashion accessory for many of my costumes, which you can see when I play the character Makinami Mari from Neon Genesis Evangelion. Glasses used to be viewed as a “nerd” item, but not anymore. Glasses are now kawaii items for anime lovers and cosplayers, as well. ♡ Here is some good news for Meganekko.
The eyewear company Zoff has just has released the “Zoff x K-On! Movie Collaboration Fashion Glasses.” The glasses are collector’s items with six different designs based on K-On! characters Yui, Mio, Ritsu, Tsumugi, Azusa, and Nodoka. As seen in the pictures, each pair of glasses comes with a special “glasses wipe,” “strap,” and a miniature emblem of each individual character’s instrument put on the inside tip of the right temple cover. I look forward to seeing anime lovers and cosplayers wearing K-On! glasses at conventions!
