Evangelion Battlefields is a mobile battle action game that was originally set to launch on iOS and Android in Japan on March 26, but it looks like Eva fans will have to wait a little longer. While the recently announced delay isn’t due to coronavirus (COVID-19) concerns, the team needs some more time to improve gameplay before they’re ready to launch it.
The developers released an apology note via Twitter to explain the situation, but there’s currently no new release date in place.
When Evangelion Battlefields eventually launches, it will be a free-to-start game with in-app purchases. 3D visuals will depict the various Evas you can use to battle against others, and seasonal content updates are in the works.
