Pulling from over 16,000 locations—including online retailers, physical chains like Barnes & Noble, and independent shops—the BookScan rankings are here to showcase the U.S. charts for January 2019. Manga once again dominates the Top 20 list of adult graphic novels, with Dragon Ball Super coming out on top of the 12 manga releases hitting the charts.

Here’s an overview of the manga featured in the Top 20 graphic novels:

#1 Dragon Ball Super volume 4 (Toyotarō)
#2 The Life-Changing Manga of Tidying Up (Marie Kondo and Yuko Uramoto)
#3 My Hero Academia volume 1 (Kōhei Horikoshi)
#4 My Hero Academia: Vigilantes volume 3 (Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court)
#5 My Hero Academia volume 16 (Kōhei Horikoshi)
#6 One-Punch Man volume 15 (ONE and Yuusuke Murata)
#7 My Hero Academia volume 2 (Kōhei Horikoshi)

#14 My Hero Academia volume 14 (Kōhei Horikoshi)
#15 My Hero Academia volume 4 (Kōhei Horikoshi)
#19 Tokyo Ghoul volume 1 (Sui Ishida)

BookScan may not cover all retail sales and those made at comic shops, but it offers coverage of about 85% of the U.S. trade print book market, so it’s a decent snapshot of a series’ success. In other words, way to go, Dragon Ball Super!

Also, congrats to My Hero Academia for taking up almost the entire rest of the list.
