Dragon Ball Daima Anime Trailer Puts Spotlight on Goku

A new trailer for the Dragon Ball Daima anime made its debut during this weekend’s Dragon Ball Games Hour event, taking the opportunity to highlight Goku. Masako Nozawa is once again back in the role, and you can see the character as he appears in his child-transformed state in the video below.

You can also see an updated look at Goku and Krillin’s character designs:

As previously reported, series creator Akira Toriyama is heavily involved, handling original character designs and the new story. Katsuyoshi Nakatsuru (Dragon Ball Z) is adapting Toriyama’s character designs, and Yuuko Kakihara (Digimon Adventure tri.) is both writing and supervising scripts for the anime.

Dragon Ball Daima was first revealed in October during a New York Comic Con panel. The series sees Goku, Vegeta, Bulma and other characters becoming younger in a plot that isn’t to be confused with the early Dragon Ball GT anime. Daima is currently eyeing a premiere sometime in fall 2024.
