Dr. STONE NEW WORLD, the third season of Dr. STONE, will hit airwaves in April 2023.
That’s the word from a fresh STONE info dump, which also reveals that Maaya Sakamoto will join the cast.
As if that weren’t enough, we’ve also got a fresh teaser for the new season.
Sakamoto will play Francois, who first appeared in chapter 92 of the manga.
Sez Sakamoto:
Francois’s age and gender are both unknown… What a difficult role I have been entrusted with! I went to the recordings with a trembling heart. I hope that everyone will accept my performance as the Francois I envisioned after reading the original story.
The Dr. STONE manga ran from 2017 to March of this year. The first season of the anime aired in 2019, and the second in 2021.
