Dr. STONE NEW WORLD Reveals Premiere Date, Opening ArtistDr. STONE NEW WORLD, the third season of Dr. STONE, will hit the air starting April 6.

That’s the word from the folks in Dr. Stoneverse, who also report that the season will air over two cours, meaning it’ll run 24 or so episodes, though the cours will be split across different broadcast seasons.

We’ve also learned who will be performing the opening: Huwie Ishizaki, who’s also performed songs for Case File nº221: Kabukicho and Naruto Shippuden. The song is called “Wasure Gataki.”

Back in December, we learned that Maaya Sakamoto would be joining the cast as Francois.

Here’s how Crunchyroll describes Dr. STONE NEW WORLD:

With the Stone Wars over, the former members of Tsukasa’s Empire of Might join forces with the Kingdom of Science to build a ship capable of sailing across open ocean to seek answers on the mystery of the global petrification. However, before they can begin their voyage Senku and his friends need to find some key resources and push some new scientific advancements to build the type of vessel they need.
