There are some crazy light novel and anime titles out there, and one of the recent contenders worth adding to the ever-growing list is definitely FUNA’s Didn’t I Say to Make My Abilities Average in the Next Life?! series of novels. A TV anime adaptation is on the way this October, and the official website recently came through with a teaser trailer and main staff announcements.
Masahiko Ota (Himouto! Umaru-chan) is directing, with Takashi Aoshima (YuruYuri, Umaru-chan) on scripts and Kanade Watanabe (The Ryuo’s Work is Never Done! animation director) handling character designs. Yasuhiro Misawa is back with the other Umaru-chan alums on music, and Project No.9 (Ro-Kyu-Bu!) is in charge of animation production.
The voice cast includes the likes of Sora Tokui as Reina, Fumiko Uchimura as Mavis von Austien, and Masumi Tazawa as Pauline. Azumi Waki voices protagonist Mile, who also narrates the new promo below.
