Tanjiro actor Natsuki Hanae and Aniplex producer Yuma Takahashi were on hand last night for a streamed Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba announcement. The duo unveiled a pair of upcoming Demon Slayer events in and around Tokyo.
The first was “Kimetsu-sai,” or “Kimetsu Festival,” an event to be held April 16 and 17 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, near Tokyo. It’ll be a two-day celebration commemorating three years since the Demon Slayer anime first went on air.
The event will feature the cast of the series, who will participate in talk events and live readings. Over 200 illustrations will also be featured. Tickets go on sale March 18.
The other event announced yesterday is an exhibition that starts April 20 at Matsuya Ginza in, well, Ginza, Tokyo. It’ll feature keyframes, projections, swords based on those from the series and more. Tickets are on sale now.
Lots of fun upcoming for Demon Slayer fans in Tokyo.
