Demon Slayer Stage Play Opens in Japan in January

Demon Slayer Stage Play Opens in Japan in JanuaryHot on the heels of a Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba film comes… a stage play.

The play is set to open in January 2020 in Tokyo and Hyogo Prefecture.

It’ll be written by Kenichi Suemitsu, best known for his work on the TRUMP series of plays (unrelated to POTUS, natch). Suemitsu also worked on the stage plays for K and Touken Ranbu.

The music will be written by Shunsuke Wada, who did the music for the Haikyu!! stage plays.

We’ll be interested to see what the play ends up looking like when cast and consume photos are revealed.
