Deadpool Villain Joins Alita: Battle Angel Cast

The Robert Rodriguez-directed live-action adaptation of Yukito Kishiro‘s Battle Angel Alita manga has another new actor to add to the cast. Following up on the recent announcement of Jackie Earle Haley as a monstrous cyborg, we have another villain going to actor Ed Skrein.

Skrein was recently the villain in Deadpool, and he was also the first of two actors to portray Daario Naharis in HBO’s Game of Thrones. According to Hollywood Reporter, he’ll be playing Zapan, a villain with a weapon known as the Damascus blade, in Alita: Battle Angel.

Alita: Battle Angel is currently planned for a summer 2018 premiere.
