A start date is officially in place for the Dead Mount Death Play anime, based on the manga written by Ryohgo Narita and illustrated by Shinta Fujimoto. In addition to previewing the opening theme song by YouTuber Sou and some of the main cast voices, the new trailer confirms that the series will premiere in Japan on April 10.

Manabu Ono (Sword Art Online: Alicization) is directing and writing series composition for the Dead Mount Death Play anime, with Hisashi Abe (Berserk) on character designs and F.M.F on music for the GEEKTOYS production. Crunchyroll already announced plans to stream the series as it airs and describes it like so:
It’s a showdown for the ages as the legendary hero takes on the corpse god necromancer, but when the dust settles, something isn’t quite right… In the final moments of their epic confrontation, the corpse god’s final gambit shot was wholly unexpected — reincarnation magic!
