The official Twitter account for Koshi Tachibana’s Date A Live series hit a major milestone recently. The account managed to reach 100,000 followers, so a veteran of the series was roped in to help celebrate. Official illustrator Tsunako—who has been working on the series since the first volume launched in March of 2011—whipped up a special illustration to mark the occasion.
Beyond simply being shared via Twitter, the celebratory illustration above is now available here as wallpapers, Twitter headers, and Twitter icons for big fans of the Date A Live series.
The latest addition to the franchise is Date A Bullet: Dead or Bullet, the first of two anime films adapting the Date A Live Fragment: Date A Bullet spinoff novels by Yuichiro Higashide. That one opened in seven theaters in Japan on August 14, with more theaters to be added on September 4 due to popular demand.
