The latest update for the Dragon Ball Super: Broly anime film concerns the theme song, which will be performed by Daichi Miura. The 31-year-old artist, who has been referred to as “Japanese-made Michael Jackson” in Japan, will sing “Blizzard.”
Miura previously performed the “IT’S THE RIGHT TIME” ending theme for the 2014 Parasyte -the maxim- TV anime. He will be present at the November 14 world premiere of Broly at Tokyo’s Nippon Budokan.
Here’s what he had to say about the opportunity:
“It is a really happy thing to hear my music used in the anime that I met in my childhood. I believe the song is finished with the quality that can make you feel ‘It was good.’ when you leave the theater after seeing the film, so you can look forward to it.”
If this is your first introduction to Miura’s work, here’s his latest video:
The single for “Blizzard” debuts on December 19.
