Cyborg 009 vs Devilman Anime is a Real Thing

The worlds of Shotaro Ishinomori’s Cyborg 009 and Go Nagai’s Devilman are getting ready to clash in a Cyborg 009 vs Devilman OVA. The three-episode crossover event will make its debut in eight Japanese theaters this October for a limited time, with two complete Blu-ray sets (limited and regular) scheduled to arrive in Japan on November 11. Individual episode discs will arrive in November, December, and January.

It should come as no surprise that the tagline for the main visual is “Who Will Survive…?.” Jun Kawagoe (Mazinkaiser SKL, Cyborg 009 The Cyborg Soldier, New Getter Robo) directs the project, which is being produced by Actas (Girls und Panzer) and BeeMedia (Getter Robo Armageddon).
